Our family has a had a major role in both the Powersports Industry and racing in Ontario.
Tom Irwin….44 years of racing motorcycles including 5 Canadian Enduro Championships , team member of a world dirt track record…..racing / riding all across Canada , United States, Europe & Mexico. Tom’s Grandfather T.A Irwin Raced in Ireland…immigrated to Canada & started his own motorcycle dealership in 1937 (Irwin Supply)….Tom’s father took over the dealership…also won two Canadian Championships & raced / rode motorcycles until he passed away in 1994. Tom ran the family dealership until 2017 (80 years in business) when he sold his portion to start Tom Irwin Adventure Tours ! Tom’s sister Kellee is a very active rider who no longer races, but travels to South Africa & Mongolia for some ultimate off road motorcycle adventures. Tom’s 3 children Katie , Kelsie & Ben all grew up on bikes….Ben & Katelyn raced for years ( Katelyn won her first Provincial Championship at age 15) ,both Ben & Katie have won their classes at the Corduroy Enduro….(Canada’s toughest race).
What does Tom do when he is not riding ? He Snowmobile’s on the ten’s of thousands of kilometers across Ontario & Quebec… Motorcycle rides with his (very patient) wife Lynne or drives his Race Car at Calabogie Motorsports Park.
